Is GST included in the hisabkitab price?
No. All hisabkitab prices are exclusive of 18% GST. GST-registered businesses can usually claim this GST as input tax credit.
Which hisabkitab plan should I choose?
Most growing businesses choose Boost (₹4,999/yr), which adds custom fields, recurring invoices, barcode printing and auto WhatsApp reminders. Launch suits a single business with low volume. Advance suits distributors and multi-branch firms that need AI OCR import, GST filing and reconciliation, audit trail and the Tally Connector.
Does hisabkitab have a free plan or free trial?
Yes. hisabkitab offers a free plan for 1 company and 1 user, capped at 50 invoices, 50 quotations and 50 purchase orders a year. It is meant for trying the software before moving to a paid plan.
Is there a discount for buying hisabkitab for 3 years?

Can I add more users or companies to my hisabkitab plan?
Yes. hisabkitab sells extra users at ₹249–₹499 per user per year and extra companies at ₹499–₹999 per company per year, depending on your plan. Prices are exclusive of GST.
Does hisabkitab auto-renew or auto-debit my card?
No. hisabkitab does not auto-charge. Renewal is manual, so you are only billed when you choose to renew.

Data safety and your account
Where is hisabkitab data stored?
hisabkitab stores all customer data on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in India. Your books never leave the country.
Is my accounting data safe on hisabkitab?
Yes. hisabkitab runs on AWS in India with encrypted data, regular automatic backups and role-based user access. The company is ISO 27001 certified for information security. Because data lives in the cloud, a stolen or crashed laptop does not take your books with it.
What happens to my data if my hisabkitab subscription expires?
hisabkitab keeps your data when a subscription expires. You cannot open it until you renew, and once you renew, everything is available again exactly as you left it.
Can I export my data from hisabkitab?
Yes. hisabkitab lets you export reports and data to Excel and PDF at any time, on every paid plan. There is no lock-in.
Does hisabkitab have an audit trail?
Yes. hisabkitab’s Advance plan and above include an audit trail and transaction freeze. Every voucher change is logged with the user and time, which supports the audit-trail requirement for companies under the Companies Act.
Features and GST compliance
Is hisabkitab GST compliant?
Yes. hisabkitab is built for Indian GST and produces GST-compliant tax invoices with CGST, SGST and IGST, HSN codes and QR codes. It prepares GST reports on every plan, and the Advance plan adds GST filing and GSTR-2B reconciliation against your purchase register.
Does hisabkitab generate e-invoices and e-way bills?
Yes. hisabkitab generates e-invoices (IRN) and e-way bills from the invoice screen. Launch includes up to 500 a year, Boost up to 1,500, and Advance and above are unlimited.
Does hisabkitab handle TDS and TCS?
Yes. hisabkitab records TDS and TCS at the voucher level and produces TDS and TCS reports for quarterly filing. The module has been updated for the section numbering of the Income-tax Act, 2025.
What AI features does hisabkitab have?
hisabkitab’s AI reads bank statements, purchase bills and sales documents and turns them into accounting entries for your review (OCR import, Advance plan and above, 1,000 pages a year). It also includes Hisabkitab AI, an in-app assistant that answers questions about your business data in plain language.
Does hisabkitab have a mobile app?
Yes. hisabkitab has free mobile apps on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). You use the same login as the web app to create invoices, record payments and check reports.
Does hisabkitab work offline?
No. hisabkitab is cloud software, so it needs an internet connection. In return, your data is backed up automatically and you can work from any device.
Can hisabkitab send invoices and payment reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes. hisabkitab can send invoices and automatic payment reminders by WhatsApp and email. Boost includes up to 500 auto WhatsApp messages a year, and Advance and above include up to 1,500.
Does hisabkitab manage inventory and manufacturing?
Yes. hisabkitab includes inventory and stock reports on every plan, with serial number tracking and barcode printing from Boost. The MFG and POS + MFG plans add bill of materials and production entries for manufacturers.
Does hisabkitab support pharma businesses?
Yes. hisabkitab supports pharma businesses, with batch and expiry tracking, drug licence numbers on invoices and pharma-specific reports. The Pharma Template is included in the POS, MFG and POS + MFG plans.

Switching to hisabkitab
Can I migrate from Tally to hisabkitab?
Yes. hisabkitab migrates your Tally Prime or Tally ERP 9 data, including ledgers, opening balances, party outstandings and item stock, at no extra charge. A Tally migration takes 1 working day at most. Afterwards you check one closed period’s trial balance against Tally, and it should match to the rupee.
Can I use hisabkitab and Tally together?
Yes. hisabkitab’s Tally Connector (Advance plan and above) syncs vouchers between hisabkitab and Tally. This suits businesses whose accountant still works in Tally while the team bills in hisabkitab.
Can I move to hisabkitab from Busy, Vyapar, Zoho Books or Excel?
Yes. hisabkitab imports data exported from Busy, Vyapar, Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Excel through its Excel import templates. The hisabkitab team maps your columns and checks totals against your old system.
Does hisabkitab have Tally-style keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. hisabkitab uses familiar Tally-style shortcuts, such as F8 for a sales voucher, F9 for purchase, F5 for payment and F6 for receipt. Accountants used to Tally can enter data without a mouse.
How long does it take to start using hisabkitab?
Most businesses start billing in hisabkitab the same day they sign up. Migrating your past data from Tally takes 1 working day at most.
